Why We Care About the Water — All of It

Long before Melissani was a water filter, it was a belief: water connects everything. The tap water in your kitchen and the ocean water off the coast come from the same cycle — what we protect in one, we protect in both.

That's why Melissani exists to do two things at once: give your family cleaner water at home, and give something back to the water that gives us everything — the oceans. Every filter we ship, every subscription that renews, plays a small part in a bigger commitment to cleaner water everywhere, not just in your glass.

Our Story

It started with our son.

When our baby developed eczema, we tried everything — creams, changing detergents, cutting foods. Nothing seemed to make a lasting difference. Eventually, we started looking at something we'd never questioned before: our water.

We switched to filtered water at home, and over time, we noticed things getting better. We can't promise it will be the same story for every family — every child's skin is different — but for us, that experience changed how we thought about water for good. It's what pushed us to build a water purifier that actually gets the hard-to-remove stuff out — the things you can't taste or see, but that can affect your family in ways you don't expect.

That personal moment became Melissani. We built the M1 so other families wouldn't have to guess what's in their water — they could just know.
