Melissani M1 Countertop Reverse Osmosis Water Purifier — 5-Stage RO Filtration System

I am not one to write reviews but I want people to be aware before purchasing. I was so excited for my system to arrive. It has now been months since receiving my system and the water has had a dirty taste since arriving despite all of the cleaning cycles ran. I have a friend with the same system and her water tastes amazing so I know this is a faulty machine I have gotten. I have tried calling the customer service number listed which is out of order. I have emailed a dozen times looking for help and get no responses. They answered once asking for my information and it has not been a month of no more responses. I have checked in and reached out numerous times and they went thru and completed all comments left and did not respond to anything. I did a lot of research before getting a reverse osmosis system for my house hold as many do. I saw a few negative comments about customer service before purchasing and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Please be aware before buying. I wish I had listened to the comments.

Writing a new review as my last one was deleted, along with the rest of similar reviews stating that they had issues and can’t get in touch with customer service. I got my system a month ago and after many cleanings the water tastes like a hardware store smells. Very unpleasant. I have sent multiple emails to customer service and they only responded once saying to re run the cleaning cycle which I replied saying I have done many times. I have tried calling the phone number listed for customer service and the line has been “disconnected “ I saw bad reviews before purchasing of having issues and not being able to get ahold of anyone, but I bought it any way because a friend of mine received one that did in fact work correctly and it is amazing. Just want to post this again so people are aware of what’s going on as they have deleted all negative reviews. This is an expensive filtration system and if you are lucky enough to get one that works properly it’s worth it but it is very concerning to get a daily product and not be able to get in touch with anyone to get the issue resolved. Wanting clean drinking water after spending a few hundred dollars on a system is not much to ask for…

I just received my melissani filtration system on Saturday. I decided to order mine after seeing my friends that she had just received. I was with her when she first got it and tried the water right after she finished the cleaning process and it tasted so clean and crisp. Between that and the beautiful style of the machine and I was sold. After receiving mine on Saturday, I ran the clean cycle three times as instructed. After filling it up and being so excited to try it, the water tasted how I can only describe it as a hardware store smells. Not pleasant. I reached out to customer service and have not heard back yet besides the instant automatic response saying someone would be in touch. I have ran the cleaning cycle two more times since then and have been refilling and drinking the water in hopes the taste dissipates. I am on day five of using it since originally setting it up. I do love the machine and the options on it, I am just really hoping to hear back from the company to get the taste of the water cleared up.

I’ve had my Melissani purifier for a little while now and the experience has genuinely improved over time. When I first received the unit I had some issues with the smell and taste of the water, so I reached out to their customer service team. It did take a little while to hear back, but they let me know they were in the middle of moving to a new warehouse and kept me informed once they were able to follow up. When they did, they were incredibly helpful and shared troubleshooting tips that made a real difference. They walked me through what to try, helped me understand my machine better, and gave me the reassurance that their team is available whenever I need support. After using their guidance I noticed a clear improvement in the taste of the water and feel much more confident with the unit. Their communication and willingness to help really stood out and made the experience feel much more positive in the end.
